About the Role
Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is looking for a Vehicle Process Associate to join its Accessory Center team. You will install accessories on vehicles and move vehicles for the dealer network, using the client's systems (SAP, VMS, VDS).
Key Responsibilities
Scan vehicles into inventory and update vehicle locations with handheld scanners
Perform QC1, PD1, and vehicle prep
Support inbound and outbound vehicle movements using FIFO
Install accessories and parts using hand tools and equipment provided by the client
Visually inspect vehicles and parts for quality defects, and act as the quality contact for any defects found
Scrap or recycle parts properly
Make sure work tools are properly assigned and counted
Use SAP, VMS, and VDS to process vehicle service orders and vehicle movements
Follow work instructions, solve problems daily, and meet all deadlines
Follow 5S, safety standards, Standard Work, and problem-solving principles
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR check required)
Able to install parts, move vehicles, operate computers and scanners, and stand or walk throughout the shift
Able to work in a shop floor or warehouse setting, wear protective equipment, and work overtime and on-call as needed
Comfortable working in occasional inclement weather (rain, heat)
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year in a production environment
1+ year of vehicle experience
1+ year of logistics or warehouse knowledge
1+ year of SAP experience
1+ year with MS Office
Ability to drive a manual transmission

Hands-on vehicle experience: moving cars, accessory or parts installation, or vehicle prep
Clean MVR and a valid license
Comfortable with handheld scanners and data entry in a system
Production or warehouse background
Strong differentiators
SAP experience
Manual transmission
Auto manufacturing, dealership, port or auction, or vehicle logistics background
Familiarity with 5S, QC, or lean concepts
