Job Description

Sarepta Therapeutics seeks a Medical Science Liaison to build relationships with healthcare professionals managing neuromuscular diseases and serve as a scientific expert on the company's genetic medicine portfolio. The role involves extensive regional travel across the Midwest and requires advanced scientific communication skills combined with clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Identify and foster peer-to-peer relationships with key opinion leaders and clinicians in neuromuscular disease
• Develop and execute KOL engagement strategies demonstrating ownership of regional medical initiatives
• Deliver high-quality scientific presentations to healthcare professionals in various settings
• Collect feedback on unmet medical needs and market trends, reporting findings to internal teams
• Support investigator-initiated studies, registries, and evidence generation activities with site assessment

Requirements

• Graduate degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience in R&D, clinical trials, medical information, or clinical practice
• Strong knowledge of neuromuscular disease state and clinical trial design
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and compliantly
• Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time
• Experience with industry and regulatory compliance guidelines
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
