We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.INTERNSHIP SUMMARY:Sport Management Interns will learn how to promote and operate sports leagues, camps, clinics, tournaments, and other special events. They will be immersed in the scheduling, execution, and day-to-day operations of the facility assisting in any of following areas: Events and Operations, FEC (Family Entertainment Center) and Food and Beverage. Overall, Interns will gain valuable experience in the sports and recreation industry focusing on full-service entertainment.INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW:Interns will be cross trained in multiple areas throughout the facility, such as event management, venue walkthroughs and daily facility operationsWill complete an internship to gain real-world experience in sports management, Sports Technology, Esports & GamingSome students may have longer or shorter practicum requirements with less time commitment and commitment length will be addressed individuallyWe will develop an intern schedule to accommodate any individual requirements (i.e., class commitments)Interns may be asked to assist during special events and additional projects that are not related to their specific areaMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong desire to learnAbility to work in a team environment, as well as independentlyDemonstrate success with multi-tasking and organizing multiple prioritiesSelf-motivated and has initiative to complete tasks in a timely fashionWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be willing to work outside for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift 30 poundsFacility has intermittent noisePREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Currently a student or a new graduateA student majoring in sport management or related field
