NOW HIRING: Weekend Caregiver — Kirkland, WA Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care – is seeking a compassionate, dependable Weekend Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Kirkland, WA. Position Details Location: Kirkland, WA Position: Part-Time Weekend Caregiver Schedule: Weekends — Saturday and/or Sunday Pay: $21.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment What You'll Do * Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility * Assist with ambulation inside and outside the home * Prepare and serve meals while following dietary requirements * Provide medication reminders as directed * Assist with prescribed exercises and recommended activities * Provide companionship and engage the client in meaningful activities * Perform light housekeeping tasks the client is unable to complete independently * Assist with shopping or accompany the client on errands when needed * Monitor and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior * Communicate effectively with the client, family, nurses, and care team * Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment * Respond appropriately and responsibly to emergencies or unusual situations What We're Looking For * Previous caregiving or related experience preferred, but not required * Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association preferred/required as applicable * Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to client care * Ability to work independently and follow established care plans * Knowledge of basic housekeeping and meal preparation, including dietary considerations * Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills * Physical ability and endurance to perform required caregiving tasks * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Successful completion of a background check and reference verification * Must be available to work weekends What We Offer * $21.00–$23.00 per hour * Weekend scheduling opportunities * Supportive work environment * Training and professional development opportunities * Health insurance * PTO and sick leave * 401(k) About Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized in-home care services.
