Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Contact constituents/complainants to discuss details of filed complaints
Read state statutes and compare with complaints to analyze issues
Communicate with the public, providing strong customer service
Advise complainants of the Division\'s jurisdiction and case closure reasoning
Provide resources or referrals as appropriate
Send written correspondence to complainants once approved by supervisor
Close cases by adding appropriate codes/activities/statutes in Versa
Document actions in the OnBase system

Experience Required

Previous experience working with the public in a professional work environment
Experience working with the public and analyzing complaints
Experience using Versa Regulations with DBPR – highly desired
Experience using OnBase system – highly desired

Skills & Certifications

Verbal and written communication
Reading and interpreting Florida state statutes
Exceptional organizational skills
Complaint analysis and case management

Eligibilities & qualifications

Ability to speak and understand English
High school diploma required; Bachelor\'s degree highly desired
Excellent written and oral communication with the public
Ability to read and interpret Florida State Statutes
Commitment to the project timeline (short-term assignment)
